RiNo Pedestrian Bridge
Denver, CO
Project Description
A 272-foot suspension pedestrian bridge will provide connectivity across the South Platte River for the northern Denver River North (RiNo) neighborhood. The preliminary design (30%) was led by the City of Denver and paid for the North Denver Cornerstone Collaborative and Office of Economic Development.
Final design and construction of the bridge is being completed as a public-private-partnership between the City of Denver and Zeppelin Development in conjunction with the non-profit Bridges to Prosperity.
The new crossing will provide an important link to Denver's pedestrian and bicycle community, with connectivity for the RiNo and Globeville neighborhoods.
