Project Description
The New Bridge St. Lawrence (NBSL) is a 3.3 km long precast segmental bridge crossing the St. Lawrence River. It will consist of two vehicle girders and a transit girder. The main spans will be cable stayed.

Construction Method and Specifications
Precast footing cast in drydock, set with catamaran crane. Precast segmental pier built using barge mounted crane. Steel girders built using barge-mounted crane. Steel orthotropic main span using deck-mounted derricks.
