McNary Bergeron & Associates provided construction engineering services including: Construction analysis for the replacement of the suspension span deck, as well as the through truss deck, erection plans & procedures, geometry control systems, integrated shop drawings for the precast deck units. development and design of lifting and handling systems, design of marine access system and trestle.

Construction Method and Specifications
The deck for the suspension bridge and through truss was replaced during night closures. Each deck panel was saw cut, then replaced with a new panel. Traffic was restored each morning.
