  • Job Description

    • Work with licensed engineers in the field of construction engineering
    • Read and interpret design drawings for complex structures
    • Assist in the preparation of calculations and design drawings
    • Learn and develop as an engineer and discover more about potential career paths

    Qualifications

    • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil engineering, preferably with a focus on structural engineering
    • Authorized to work in the United States
    • Organized and hard-working
    • Preferred candidates will have some experience with AutoCAD or Microstation
    • Preferred candidates will have some coursework in steel, concrete, and timber design
    • Be willing to work in one of our three offices (Broomfield, CO – Tampa, FL – Old Saybrooke, CT) with a preference for CT or FL

    • Perform basic analysis on structures to determine demands
    • Design members and connections to support construction activities from steel, concrete, and timber
    • Communicate details and designs via drawings
    • Prepare calculations in support of original designs
    • Solve unique problems and exercise creativity
    • Communicate with clients and maintain relationships

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a focus on structural engineering
    • 0 to 3 years experience in a related field, and be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

    • Experience and proficiency with AutoCAD or Microstation
    • Experience or coursework in steel, concrete, and timber design with relevant codes (AASHTO, AISC, ACI, NDS)
    • Be willing to work in one of our three offices (Broomfield, CO – Tampa, FL – Old Saybrook, CT) with a preference for CT or FL
  • Job Description

    • Perform analysis on structures during stages of construction, and check for stability and strength associated with transient loading
    • Design members and connections to support construction activities from steel, concrete, and timber
    • Communicate details and designs via drawings
    • Prepare calculations in support of original designs
    • Solve unique problems and exercise creativity
    • Communicate with clients and maintain relationships
    • Manage projects and assist in the training and development of staff
    • Some travel is necessary for project support

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a focus on structural engineering
    • Licensed professional engineer
    • 5 to 10 years experience in a related field, and be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
    • Organized and hard-working
    • Proficiency with AutoCAD or Microstation
    • Proficient with analysis software (RISA or LARSA, for example)
    • Proficiency with design in steel, concrete, and timber with relevant codes (AASHTO, AISC, ACI, NDS)
    • Be willing to work in one of our three offices (Broomfield, CO – Tampa, FL – Old Saybrooke, CT) with a preference for CT or FL
